The Niswongers and Mrs Alta Head Debbie and Billie dined with the Powells. Chalice Hedgecock and Mr Jump from Des Moines spent Sunday with Marshall Hedgecock.
Mrs. Willard Brain and Mrs. Linda Coulson visited in Des Moines and Kansas City with family and friends for birthdays and gatherings. Numerous locals hosted and attended dinners and calls across Unionville, with Drilling Company work and a Carl Phillips sale noted.
Turning home from St. Joseph hospital in Centerville, Mr and Mrs Robert Bond and family visited Mrs Metta Harrington on Sunday. They visited Mr and Mrs Dean Easter and Mr and Mrs Charles Taylor in Des Moines. En route they stopped to see Mr and Mrs Wm Rhinehart in Martinsburg Ia. Fred Davis is off work due to illness and hopes for a quick recovery.
Mrs Earl Swift notes weekend visits and gatherings in Franklin. Mr and Mrs Delbert Calhourn visited Amy Hiner with Mr and Mrs Pearl Runnells. Angie Ammons stayed with grandparents Lloyd and Emily Ammons. Gary Perry family joined Larry Derby household for Saturday evening, with Julie and Jeffrey staying overnight.
Earl Swift home with Rathbun lake tour in the afternoon. Mr and Mrs Delbert Calhoun spent Sunday evening with Mr and Mrs Tom Hartz and girls. Mr and Mrs Lloyd Armmons welcomed a granddaughter born to Mr and Mrs Dean Ammons of Denver. Mr and Mrs Loyd Johnson and Mr and Mrs Harry Jennings visited Roscos Argos on Sunday. Monte Derby and Terry Mitchell spent Sunday with Larry Derbys. Earl Swift and party called at Duane Wilson home Saturday.
Lloyd Ammons returned home Tuesday from a hunting trip in Wyoming. Mark Derby attended boys 4-H at the Lloyd Ammons home Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eastlick and family attended Fun night at the Jefferson school in Albis Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gardner and family spent Friday evening at Richard Eastlicks.
Mr and Mrs Glen West spent Saturday evening at the Richard Eastlick home. Mr and Mrs Rex Hever returned home Thursday after a few days with their daughter Mrs Chet Kuhn and family in Rock Island.
