Moravia Local Transit On Tracks And Hotels Enduring
Schedule ran from 8 am to 9 pm daily with John Johnson a longtime conductor. Many Moravia students rode the electric train to Moravia school. Families lived near the tracks and trains stopped at will. A horse drawn hack met trains to transfer riders between rails or park near two local hotels. The Moravia property, once owned by the Eastlacks, stood where the Johnson Barber Supply or Park Hotel now sit. Local notices mention dinner guests and birthday festivities.
