Raph notes heavy snow on the eve of Thanksgiving and predicts a long winter. Reports indicate typical moisture levels yearly, with little late summer precipitation and an excellent fall. Weather outlook remains cautious with expectations of continued wintry conditions.

Items include macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, peanut butter and jelly, cookies, and 44 pt milk on December 1. weiner winks and sauerkraut with pie and 14 pt milk on December 2. goulash, tossed salad, bread and butter sandwich, fruit, and 44 pt milk on December 3. beef stew, cheese sticks, bread and butter sandwich, cake with topping, and 14 pt milk on December 4. fish with tar tar sauce, baked potatoes, celery sticks, peanut butter batter, bread and butter, fruit, and 14 pt milk on December 5.
The 40th annual Alfalfa Banquet was held in the Moravia High School gym Thursday evening with about 290 attendees. Entertainment came from the Exline family, master of ceremonies was Henry Dukes, and the Moravia Music Mothers prepared the meal served by the music students.
Moravia High School band gave a public concert on November 19 featuring pieces including Gallant Men Battle Hymn of the Republic Prelude and Fugue in G Minor and Mituet. The group performed once and the audience expressed enjoyment.
