Art Fox and children hosted by John Hayward in Des Moines. Fred Dotson hosted Don Cobbler of Ottumwa. Cobbler suffered a knee fracture in a Saturday accident requiring a cast.
The Happy Helpers 4-H club met May 12 with JoAnn Moore and Martha Potts. Roll call quoted a room order tip. a bed making demonstration by JoAnn Moore and Martha Potts followed. Dues were paid. plans for a weiner roast and skating party were made. Martha McCord spoke on Monet’s Bank of the Seine painting. Members present included Martha Potts Janice Mosley Mary Mosley JoAnn Moore Charlotte McAninch and Martha McCord.

Stella Fuller called on Maude Turner and Berniece Rinehart.
Mrs. Gerald Burton Miller hosted a Sunday School with thirty seven attendees and a brief Mothers Day service. The Des Moines family were weekend guests at the Lovell Reagan home. New Mr and Mrs Russell Strunk, Billy and Merritt called on Mr and Mrs Logan Strunk Friday afternoon. Merritt felt uncomfortable during the visit.
