Outstanding musicians were honored at a Friday Music Banquet with extra seating for a co op supper and school year awards. After awards, groups performed and the stage band played, praised by Mr. Adelpoh for possibly being Bluegrass conference’s finest.

Moravia held its first corn game Saturday night before a small crowd of 37. Blanche Kincade was the first winner after drawing the first five numbers. Another drawing is set for Saturday night May 5. The jackpot was not hit. 60 numbers will be drawn next time with a $55 prize if there is a winner.
