Miss Martha McCord attended Charlotte McAninch's Centerville wedding. A shower for Charlotte McAninch was held at Iconium M E church Thursday evening.
The Busy Maidens 4-H club met Marilyn Turner for their regular monthly session on June 8. The meeting opened with the president, followed by the 4-H pledge. Roll call cited three essential sewing box items suggested by Martha Rouse, Becky Whitlock, and Linda.
Sharon Gay reports a Monroe County 4-H gathering with members Marilyn and Jeanne Turner as demonstration reps for a pee display and Dart making. Becky Whitlock spoke on Personal Grooming while Marilyn Turner described her Lake Ahquabi trip. Three visitors attended, six members and two leaders. Next meeting set at Becky Whitlock’s on June 22 with a noon covered dish.
