Carl Boyer died May 22 1976 at age 62 on the Davis County farm after a sudden heart attack born December 29 1913 in Appanoose County Iowa son of George and Elizabeth Boyer married Manilla O Conner June 4 1939 and had four children surviving wife two sons Ronald and Rick Blairstown and Cedar Rapids daughters Karen Gosnell and Beth Pospisil seven grandchildren sister Mary Bell Centerville and many relatives. He worked in coal mines earlier and lost a hand in a 1963 corn picking accident active Pleasant Valley Church member and longtime farmer. A card of thanks from his wife and children follows.
