Mr and Mrs Ben Jones Mrs Carl Van Zante and Mrs John Van Zante attended the Hoskinson funeral Thursday afternoon. Mrs Ralph Shelquist was shopping in Albia Friday. Mrs Arlen Hagerman was brought home from the hospital Friday. An auto accident occurred at a blind corner one quarter mile south of the George Shahan home Friday when the Shahan car going south met the Albia mail carrier jeep going north. Shahan car damaged, Mrs Shahan had cuts and bruises but no serious injuries. Mr and Mrs Carl VanZante and boys were in Albia Thursday evening. Ronald takes music lessons there. Girele meets Thursday afternoon with Eva VanZante. Farmers busy combining oats hoping for nice weather this week. Ben Jones owns a new Farmall tractor.
