Interesting Letter From Roscoe Day
An exhausting yet vivid update from Roscoe Day written June 29 in Pfungstadt Germany after weeks without word. He details shifting roles in Nancy and Bitche, moving through Amorbach, Bad Mergentheim, Esslingen, Augsburg, and Innsbruck area while delivering papers for the Seventh Army. He notes high discharge points, Army life, the Alps, and his frustration at returning to work rather than home, ends with a request to send future letters via Paris APO.
