Unionville Mourns Charles McCarty in Georgia Air Crash
Funeral services were held for Aviation Cadet Charles Franklin McCarty 20 killed in a Waycross Georgia plane crash on July 10. He was son of C. W. McCarty and survived by siblings Dewayne and Mary Katherine. He trained at Lake Field Arizona and Thunderbird Texas and would have finished training August 9.
