Franklin Farmers 4H club members held a Tuesday evening tour followed by a wiener roast at the Lloyd Ammons home. Sunday visits included Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van Welden at Roscoe Argo’s. Families and friends gathered at various homes through the weekend, with several dinner and social calls noted. The Argo wedding anniversary was celebrated during a dinner at Stardust in Ottumwa.
