Kinser Valley G. R. Darby and son were Albia visitors Monday. Wendell Murdy Monroe Township assessor was here Thursday. LeRoy Wilson helped haul wood Saturday morning. Zell Wilson went to Moravia Sunday afternoon to see his mother who was ill Saturday but improved Sunday. Russell Darby and family visited Wednesday with his uncle George. George R. Darby, Zell Wilson and wife attended the funeral of Mrs. O. A. Johnson in Albia Friday afternoon. Mrs. Johnson was Eddie Johnson and Mrs. E. C. Caster’s aunt and formerly lived on the farm now owned by E. C. Caster. Pvt. Donald Darby returned to Fort Meade Maryland Monday and expects to move soon to Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
