The Moravia Union lists subscription prices at 1.50 per year in advance and notes single copies. Local social updates include visits and gatherings among the McDanel, Pfannabecker, Townsend, Luse, Bogart, Gladfelder, Easter, Hiner, Glafelder, and Monras families with several Sunday and weekend visits across Albia and nearby homes.

Cecil Parcel and family visited the Haysh home east of Centerville. Everett Mosier and family of Ottumwa called at the Ullem home Sunday.

Sunday visitors at the Grant Sincox home included Clifford Williams and Albia families Herman Johnson Brampton E G Sincox Batavia and E C Caster with Zell Wilson shoppers in Moravia. Several others visited or called at alternating homes in Albia Moravia and Batavia including Willie Van Dorin Charley Johnson Eph Wilson Jimmie Van Dorin and J L Jones.
