Mr and Mrs John Allem called at Jess Smith home Wednesday evening. Mrs Cecil Purcel visited Doc Hayes Thursday afternoon to see the new girl. Mrs James Long spent Wednesday at Don Hayes home. Roy Eluwick and family of Albin visited Jess Smith Sunday evening. Mr and Mrs John Altem Bessie and Arthur Donovan visited at Will Hicks home Sunday. Cecil Parcels were Centerville visitors Sunday. Manford McCoy spent Sunday evening at J J Allem's. Me and Mrs Vernie Easter and Maxine were Albio callers Saturday.
A breezy January week in Kins er Valley with reports of chickenpox improving. Residents including Curtis Robingan Clarence Wilson and the George R Darby family shopped in Albia. The Darby circle visited Moravia and Albia while attending gatherings at homes and a play. Local travel included T J Taylor buying a farm near Albia and others visiting Moravia Centerville and Genterville.
Unionville routine visits and social calls include Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hiatt at Guag Hiatt home and Cen terville outings by the Burns and Benge families. Grace Banks receives hospital visit while Hiatt attends to other calls. Local activity lists woodwork help, farm sales near Center ville, and residents moving to R. C. Hinote’s new residence as weeks pass.
OMEGA Marshall Drake spent Saturday night at Elmer Henderson's. L Ward and Gomer Stocker family visitors called in Unionville. Otis Ballengar and Kona visited Elmer Henderson home. Mrs. Clara McCumber visited Mrs. Cora Stocker. Fay and Leo Paxston dropped by Tom Main's. Myrtle Lockman spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Price Gideon. N R Ward and daughter from Moravia visited L Ward. Roy Gideon called at Clint Paxston's Friday. Centerville guests Mr. and Mrs. Clea Tock and Betty Lou visited Gomer Stocker’s family. Walter Gideon and Mrs. Fred Coltrain and daughters visited McCumber home. Mildred Roberts and Stockers visited Barbara and Jim McCumber Sunday afternoon. H S McCumber and family and Gomer Stocker party called at G E McCumber’s. Walter Gideon and Elva Hawk hauled logs to Clint Paxaton’s mill Monday.
