In county seat courtrooms a flurry of legal chatter wanes after school hearings settle the Moulton district case. Edges of the district consider petitions to join or leave as contiguous land prompts a potential reorganization.
Moravia council plans a January meeting with a Des Moines based Brown engineering firm to discuss a city water system. The project would cost those within the corporate limits, with mains frontage assessed to property owners and metered water paying upkeep. The district’s residents face no effect from Moravia’s town water install.
On November 29 1958 the District Court of Appanoose County Iowa appointed Grace Rhee administratrix of the estate of Roe Ahee deceased. Creditors must present verified claims to the court for allowance and all debts are to be paid to the administratrix Grace Rhee. Attorneys Valentine Greenleaf Griffing announce the notice with dates December 4 and 11 1958.
Nancy and Pauline Christy spent Saturday night with their grandparents Aubrey Christy. The Clover Leaf club held a December meeting with nine ladies present and planned a December 31 gathering with Evalia Walker. Several local families and friends visited, shopped, or attended meals, church events, and a basketball game in Mora via. many names appear including Rinehart, Moore, Argo, Dicks, Brown, Taylors, and Fenton among others.

The Clover Leaf club met Wednesday December 3 with Glennie Dicks. Members shared a noon meal and worked on quilting blocks. The group voted to donate five dollars to the school for Retarded Children and scheduled a farewell supper for Dwight and Ethel Fenton at Pleasant Hill school on Sunday December 7 at 6:30.

The next meeting will be with Nona Dicks Dec. 17 for our Christmas exchange.
A Sunday birthday dinner at the Forrest MerIndle home honored Mrs Ella Foster with guests including Mr and Mrs Harry Brown Ira Stevens Olin Foster Rex Foster and families Ralph Mericle and baby and Betty Van Antwerp. Nearby events include co op supper for the Housers farewell move and visits by local families to relatives and ill neighbors.
The Wednesday Club gathered December 3 at Mrs. Hugh Crawley’s home with 11 members. Plans for the annual Christmas family party on December 12 at the R. A. Faber home include a noon covered dish lunch and a Christmas grab bag. Also noted were visits and illnesses in the community, including Dr. E. V. Houlihan hunting nearby, Ed Robinson’s Minnesota trip, Mitch Wilson visiting grandparents, and several members reporting illnesses among the Fisher, Don Sandi fer, and Faber families.
Mr and Mrs Lloyd Brown spent Thursday evening at Raymond Perry home. Mr and Mrs Don Richards and Kenny spent Saturday evening at Nearly everyone in this vicinity attended the W S C S soup supper at Iconium Thursday evening. Mr and Mrs Delbert Calhoun and sons attended a supper at the Iconium M E church Friday evening. Miss Hazel Hellyer and Maude McDonald were shopping in Oska loosa Saturday. Mrs Lloyd Brown and Mrs Delbert Calhoun were shopping in Oskaloosa Wednesday. Mr and Mrs Raymond Perry and Richard spent Wednesday in
