Mr. and Mrs. Willie Van Dorin and Eahy were shoppers in Ottumwa Tuesday. Grant Sincox helped Jimmie Van Dorin saw wood Wednesday.
Perry Miller spent Monday with Alfred Coulson and Alfred Coulson family in Centerville while visiting relatives. Ernest Hiatt and Virginia joined Mrs. Wm Horerman and Mrs. Helen Andrus for dinner at the F O Conner home. Theo Miller and John Tucker's wives attended a Moravia parent teacher meeting. C S Callen and Misses Lily and Sylvia were in Centerville Friday and Esther and Edith Simmone noted among weekend movers.
Miss Marjorie O Conner visited Thursday. Mr P P Goulton and Miss Martha were in Centerville Saturday. Mr and Mrs Parl Eapy and Don Lang were at the F L O Conner home Friday. Several locals finish husking corn. Cline and J R Callen in Moravia Monday. Dorothy and Lester Riggle were absent from school Monday.
Fuller Mrs Cecil Parcel and daughter Nadine visited with neighbors and school events. Ed Hammond near Haysville and Mrs Monford McCoy underwent surgery at Mineral Hospital Albia with improvement reported. Family visits include Jess Smith calls, James Long and Tomes Long family trips, and assorted local callers Friday through Tuesday.
Blue Front residents and neighbors visited various homes Sunday and Friday including the Bred Callen home and the Cass Hamilton home. Enid Long spent Sunday with Helen Hamilton while Roy Plant visited his parents with John Plant and Ben Williams. Van Long called on Mr Plant Sunday. Jack Long was absent due to a cold. Moravia caller Jim Moore stopped by. Raymond Williams helped Leslie Elda with corn gathering Saturday night.
Mr and Mrs George Shehan and children spent Sunday at the West Scott home. Mrs Louisa Turner visited Mrs Freda Swift Wednesday. Lowell Turner took a business trip to Albia Tuesday. Willing Worker club met with Florence Callen Tuesday with 17 members and two visitors. activities included quilting shelling popcorn and cracking nuts. Next meeting will be with Mrs Aliie Argo Dee on the 10th. Visiters welcome. Al Derby and family visited Les Derby's in Iconium, Wendl Coulson and family, Lloyd Beaty and family, Carl Derby and family visited Lou Fre and family Sunday. Mr and Mrs George Shehan shopped in Albia Thursday. Mr and Mrs Vern Turner helped with wood sawing at the Hane home north of Albia Friday. Robert Turner helped Grandpa Bane get up wood a few days last Roy Miller and Rapid Turner delivered veal calves to Moravia Tuesday.
Mrs. George Kingery and baby spent Thursday with Mrs. John Lockman. Mrs. Elia Lockman has been a few days at Fred Coltrain caring for Mrs. Coltrain who is sick. Leland Thompson spent Sunday with Clifford and Cleo Stocker. Missea Marie and LaRue Thompany and Barbara McCumber visited Misa Luelle Caltrain Sunday. Roger Gideon spent Sunday with Verlan Selby. John and Walter Scott called at the Gomer Stocker home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gideon spent Sunday with Elmer Lockman. Glen Fowler weekend with the Roberta boys. Mr. and Mrs. John Irelan visited Ezra and Fred Coltrain Sunday. Burdell Roberts and Glen Fowler joined Sunday evening at the Gomer Brocker home.
