Thursday evening F W Wright and family visited E F Wilson. Des Moines trip noted for LaVerne Davis as business caller. Various couples hosted dinners and attendances, with many names listed among Sunday meals and midweek visits.
Miss Florence Byrne spent last week at the Leo Thompson home. Miss Mary Boyer stayed at the Paul Boyer home over the weekend. Many locals joined a box supper at California acoad. Saturday shoppers included Ira Boyer and Opal, Frank Boyer, Obe Burne and family, and Leon Burns. Vernon Kaster and family a spent the week end with Virgil Kaster. John Clark and family visited the Jas Kaster home. Leo Thompson and family spent Sunday with Obe Burns.
Misa Velma Whicker, Miss Vern a Kaster, Mr. John Buffienot and fr Trenton Gladfelder spent Sunday evening at the Virell Kaster home. Paul Burns and Russell Burns were at the James Kaster home. Mr and Mrs Gus Olson and children visited the Gilmore Vench home.

Mrs Manford McCoy returned Sunday from hospital in Albia and is recovering rapidly. Carlyle Long of Lock Springs Missouri and Miss Marjorie Keck of Gallatin Missouri spent the weekend at the James Long home. John Morrison s visited John Allem home Sunday. Mrs Wincester visited Monday afternoon with Mrs Jess Smith. Cecil Parcel and Mrs Harsh drove her home east of Centerville Sunday Ada Harsh returned home with them.
