Thanksgiving relaxes at Blue Front and local visits
Blue Front school had Thanksgiving break. Mrs. John VanZante and family joined multiple households for Thanksgiving. Ralph and Ben Shelquist, Day VanZante, and Lute Hiatt families shared meals. Attendees also joined a soup supper at the E U B church. Frigid weather with six degrees above zero marked the period.

The Taylor-Ettes held their monthly meeting November 17 at Nancy Boblenz’s home. New officers were installed: Shirley Ann Walter president, Nancy Boblenz vice president, Charlene Burns secretary and treasurer, and Sandra Hiatt historian. The group shifted meetings from the third Wednesday to the third Thursday and served refreshments to attendees.

Proceedings show adoption of a motion by Exline with Harper seconding and a board chair confirming the action.
