Time Running Out On HUD Funded Projects for Moravia

Moravia city council reports HUD funded projects are in jeopardy for not meeting the one year completion deadline. Projects approved in 1975 include a water main extension, street lighting upgrades, and possible four rent housing. Kraber Electric may complete mercury vapor street lighting by August 31 after Hershey Electro’s bid fell through. HUD timing, Rathbun Rural Water integration, and the Moravia lot purchase with a $15,000 price complicate funds use before August.
