Monticello Airport Links DOT ratings with funding needs
Monticello airport officials met Sept 23 with an Iowa DOT engineer to review the sufficiency rating of 39.8 percent and discuss projects to bring the field to tolerable standards. Fourteen Small Claims Filed in Jones County Court
Fourteen cases were filed this past week in Jones County small claims court by four plaintiffs. Interstate Collection Bureau Cedar Rapids filed Sept. 24 against Lisa Pederson and Denise Seeley for $179.08 and $255. Roy Rodman of Anamosa filed Sept. 27 against four defendants for various overdue amounts. A correction notes a misreporting of a truck accident involving David Naylor and Gary Manternach on the Jones-Linn county line near Monticello at 10:20 p.m. on Sept. 18.
