A Monticello teen, Karla Krause, 16, remained in the ICU in Iowa City with neck injuries after a second crash near the Jones Linn county line site. Fellow teen Keri Arduser, 16, also injured, plus Roger Craig, 19, the other driver, were treated for injuries. no one else was reported hurt.

Merchand ise valued near 1000 dollars was taken from Onslow Feed and Grain on highway 136 near Onslow. A car entered the lot around midnight and a doorway was forced open. Items included candy, boots, sockets, tape, coolers, wrenches, tools, gloves, a clock, an antique letter opener, and a calculator. deputies say suspects not professionals. Alarm unused.
