A 160 acre farm operated by Jack Naylor and owned by W B Clark was featured in the Express Farm Foto. Located 1% miles southeast of Scotch Grove on highway 38, the Naylors live on the property about seven years and have three daughters. The Naylors raise corn and run a steer and hog operation with no dairy cattle or poultry on site. The Clark house is being remodeled.
Mrs. David Young, formerly hospitalized at John McDonald Hospital, left Saturday to reside with her daughters Inez Young and Mrs. Harry Schaller in Storm Lake.
The Scotch Grove Sunshine 4-H Girls club will celebrate 25 years in Scotch Grove on November 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Farm Bureau building in Anamosa. The silver celebration is open to former leaders, assistant leaders and former 4-H girls. Afternoon speaker Nuhad Ibrahim, a familiar county figure, will headline the event. He who shows off least shows up best.
