Scotch Grove social rounds honor Ruth Zirkelbach marriage

Miss Ruth Zirkelbach and her marriage October 16 are the center of social notices in Scotch Grove. Mrs. H J Dirks hosted a large shower with gifts for the newlyweds while Esther Sinclair hosted a dessert luncheon for the wedding party and friends. The Oak Drive Club met with officer elections and a pinochle session, and community members attended various gatherings, visits, and brief hospital and travel notes through the week.
