The fifty one piece band performed at a Friday home game after weather delays. They showed Officer of the Day March a right and left oblique, a revolving T M pinwheel and a V formation. They closed with Hosts of Freedom March. Three young twirlers Linda Lou Greenley Alice Jones Patsy Ambuehl wowed the crowd.
Friday pep assembly featured the combined glee clubs directed by Miriam Hansen with Irma Schoon as MC and helpers Lois Clark Arlene Kuhns and Vivian Englehart. Misw Smith led a snappy band selection energizing the crowd. Rex Schrader is mentioned in playful terms as part of the cheer.
