Frank Arn received news of the death of Harry B Fox eighty four years old owner of the Sparta Clay works and secretary of the Sparta Business Men's association He was killed in Fountain Michigan when a freight train backed onto a side track and Fox walked behind a car The Sparta Business Men and Masonic Order sent a delegation to bring his body back to Sparta for burial Fox had moved from Indiana three years earlier and became a prominent local figure leaving a wife and two young children in sorrow
Paul Mankin and Fred Mathas left Monday for St Louis and expect to ship from there to Arizona where they will spend a few weeks and may be gone all winter. Paul has previously dealt with adverse conditions and is improving at handling difficult routes and obstacles.
