March 10 closes with W Powell Hate performing impersonations and sketches. Season tickets are being sold to cover costs.

David C Christy Dies After Short Illness at 87 in Montezuma
Longtime railroad foreman David C. Christy died Friday at 1 30 PM after a brief illness. He served in the Spanish American War and was a member of several lodges. Cremains were sent to Olney Illinois for services and burial. The Enterprise extends condolences to his wife and family. Also reported a Mobile and Ohio troop train wreck near State Line Mississippi killing twenty and injuring one hundred as it plunged a trestle while en route to Meridian State Fair.

Saloon Fight Ends With Shot In Mecca
Saturday near noon Sam McCune of Armiesburg was shot and seriously injured by Joseph Pizzola a saloon keeper in Mecca after a quarrel with the Richardsons. McCune was treated at St. Anthony's Hospital Terre Haute and underwent surgery to locate and remove a bullet. Cle Richardson boasted of fighting and struck Pizzola with a bottle before McCune intervened and later shot Pizzola’s son. McCune was shot in the back later. The Richardsons were arrested and released on bond. Pizzola was too battered to leave home.

Auto Wreck In Rockville Injures Driver And Damages Car
Frank Adams while driving from Rockville Tuesday collided with a Ford owned by the Shoop livery. He flipped the Ford onto its driver, causing several scratches and a sprained shoulder. The Ford was badly wrecked.
