Mrs John Cole 77 Dies After Lingering Illness
Mrs. John Cole died at her home in the north part of town after a long illness. A Parke County native, she lived near Bloomingdale and Montezuma. Survived by one sister she was 77. Funeral Sunday at 10 a.m. at M I church conducted by Rev J C Whitson. Mrs C C Kelso at piano. eight member choir. Pallbearers were Aid Society members: Mesdames Bord, Mathas, Harper, Aikman, Kemp, DeMotte. Burial in West Union cemetery. O L Brown and Son funeral directors.

Rebecca Ellen Kennedy wife of John T. Cole dies at home in Montezuma on October 18 1922 aged 77. She is remembered as a devout Christian active in the Aid Society Sunday School and various churches. She leaves a widower sister and many relatives and friends.
