Church directory shows Sabbath School at 9 30 a m with S J Holmes. preaching at 10 45 a m every other week. evening services at 7 30 p m. prayer meeting Thursday at 7 30 p m led by Pastor A B Simpson.
Sabbath schedules list 9:30 a.m. Sabbath School and 7:00 p.m. preaching at Presbyterian Church led by Pastor J. D. Clay. United Brethren Church offers 9:30 a.m. Sabbath School and 3:00 p.m. preaching with Christian Endeavor at 7:30 p.m. under Pastor W. Ke Dye on alternating Sabbaths.
Catholic mass is held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month with times to be announced. Father A H Busald serves as pastor.

At the regular F and A M lodge meeting Bro T A Welshans was presented Past Master jewels by Bro Clyde Riggs before his departure for a new home in California. The banquet honored him with about thirty members sharing short talks and jokes as the event closed with best wishes for his future.
Miss Marie Brockway hosts a Hallowe en party Friday night with autumn decor and pumpkin heads. Maud Mathas and Walter Kemp win best masked girl and boy, each receive bon bons. Guests include Maud Mathas Helen McGinty Esther Holmes Sylvia Goldie Pickel Alta Clara Broderick Madge Griffith Verna Johnson and others.

W. E. Dee of Chicago and Mrs. Clarence Powell visited townsfolk Wednesday. Families, clubs, and church groups held gatherings while residents followed election results and discussed local outcomes. Notables traveled, hosted dinners, and planned events as Vermillion county residents returned to routine after voting.
