Additional receipts after closing bring expected exceedance of about 80000 dollars beyond the 375000 dollar county quota. Beulah Southard visited, fell ill, delaying her return to the State Normal. A town marshal buried a poisoned dog in the south part of town. Citizens urged to keep dogs at home to prevent nuisances.

The Roerkville area offers many chances this year for boys to participate, including raising pigs and competing under county agricultural guidelines at local fairs and events.
