Mrs Verena Kundert died Friday at 10 PM at her son Jacob Kundert's home 1210 West avenue after three years of poor health. She lived in Green county 38 years and East street 25. Born Mollig Switzerland 1837 she is survived by four children. Funeral held 1:30 PM at the house and 2:00 PM at St Johns Evangelical Church. George Bowden of Oshkosh died Wednesday at age 66. He served in the Third Wisconsin Infantry and was seriously wounded in war. He leaves five sons and three daughters and two sisters Mrs R F Ellis and Mrs Ellen Miller.
