Death Claims Mr and Mrs Flannery of Brodhead
Brodhead residents Mr John Flannery and his wife Mrs Flannery died within hours of each other. Mrs Flannery passed away last evening and Mr Flannery died at 4 15 this morning. They were parents of Edward Flannery of Argyle former proprietor of the City hotel. Bodies be transported for burial with Mr Flannery to be buried here and Mrs Flannery to Albany.

Explosion Kills Two Men in Freight Engine Crash
One of the railway’s largest freight engines exploded early yesterday near Morton Grove, thirty five miles south of Corliss on the Chicago division. The fireman and engineer, both Chicago men, were instantly killed. Eight wrecks occurred on the Milwaukee railway between seven o'clock Monday night and seven o'clock yesterday morning, with three severe crashes stopping traffic systemwide.
