Adjudged insane killer sent to Jackson asylum
Deputy Sheriff John Humphries took Philip Beasley to the Jackson Louisiana asylum after Beasley was adjudged criminally insane for murdering his father near Vixen last August 1. Beasley fired on his elderly mother and father killing the mother. the father died and Beasley was declared criminally insane and jailed until transfer. The Caldwell parish jail now stands empty.
