Newark May 28 The Associated Press reports over half a million New Jersey voters will choose presidential delegates for Chicago and Baltimore. Taft and Roosevelt battle for the entire delegation as Roosevelt returns to Oyster Bay and Taft keeps touring. Wilson backers hope to win uninstructed delegates in Newark while Wilson claims a solid delegation.
Insurgents burned eight thousand tons of sugar cane and property on the Marcos Sanchez plantation near Guantanamo. The United States Transport Prairie with 775 marines arrived at Caimanera. The State Department says the U S may deploy marines and bluejackets into interior Cuba to safeguard American and foreign interests if Cuban forces are unavailable.
New York May 28 Judge La Combe filed a decision denying a motion for an injunction to restrain the alleged Brazilian Valorization coffee combine from selling 950 thousand bags from their warehouse. The government antitrust suit against members of the Valorization group will be disposed of later.
An emissary from the Mexican Congress arrives at General Orozco's headquarters to demand recognition of the congress and threaten Madero's removal from power if the body gains a majority.
Houston May 28. The Texas Democratic State convention met at noon and favored a solid delegation of forty for Woodrow Wilson under unit rule with no second choice. Wilson delegates are expected to form the majority.

The men were brothers in law Manning had married Burnaman sister Burnaman surrendered to Sheriff Rich Burnaman in jail and the examining trial not yet set.
