Miss Cassie Griffing Dies After Prolonged Illness
Miss Cassie L. Griffing died at her sister’s home April 28 after a long illness. A native of Rodney Mississippi, she lived in Bastrop Louisiana and Monroe Louisiana with her sister for thirty years. Funeral was held Sunday at 2:30 with Rev. E. F. Hayward, burial in the Monroe cemetery family lot. She was nearly 79 and long known for gentleness and sweetness.
