Shock Victims Get Aid From New Currents
Pasadena researchers report that electric shocks may derange heart action causing ventricular fibrillation without harming tissue, and can sometimes revive animals after VF with high current short shocks. They stress artificial respiration before and after counter shocks and say current, not voltage, measures shock intensity.
