Personal injury suits filed after accident in district court
Two personal injury suits totaling nearly $20,000 were filed in district court against Anthony Pendola of Monroe after a July 12 accident near Baton Rouge. Ignatius Lococo and J Monroe Higginbotham allege Pendola’s careless driving caused a rear collision after a horse darted onto the highway. Lococo's daughter Josephine suffered severe injuries. Higginbotham man’s injuries include nerve damage and paralysis in two fingers.
