Monroe Area Warned Of Thunderstorm
The Shreveport weather bureau issued a noon bulletin warning occasional severe thunderstorms for the Monroe area this afternoon and tonight. The alert covered virtually all of western Louisiana with possible tornadoes also forecast for east Oklahoma west Arkansas and east Texas from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. No tornadoes were predicted for Monroe, but a few severe storms with hail and isolated tornadoes were noted in the wider area.

Drunken Youth Brawl Injures Teen On Old Bridge
