Mrs. Lucille Ball of Alto dies at 3 10 am after a long illness. Funeral arrangements were announced by Mulhearn's Funeral Home. She was a member of Alto Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter and a son.
Funeral services for Orval Gay Langloss 47 of Monroe were set for 2 p.m. today at Hixson's Mothers Funeral Home Chapel with Revs Odis Smith and W A Massey officiating. Burial followed at Chatham Cemetery. Langloss died Tuesday night at St Francis Hospital after a brief illness. Survivors include his wife Mary Langloss, one son Andrew Langloss, three daughters Gloria Wheeler Linda Moralez and Marlin Moore, siblings William Langloss and others, and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Orville Nudestey Bobby Fason Audie Edwards Fr V Bankston J S Hsmer and Phil Phillips.
Miss Lonie Hudnall, 68, of Nebo died Thursday at LaSalle General Hospital Jena after a brief illness. Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m. at Shady Grove Pentecostal Church with Rev. S. T. White officiating. Burial followed at Miller Cemetery in Nebo under Kin ner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include sisters Bessie Ford Lillie Coon and Clara Bibner, all of Nebo.
Funeral services were set for 2 p.m. at Winnfield Pentecostal Church for Avie M. Keith 83 of Winnfield who died after a lengthy illness at Hodge Clinic. Rev. C B Bates to officiate. burial at Liberty Chapel Cemetery near William a under Edmonds Funeral Home.
Monroe resident Jesse Dee Hands announces candidacy as a District 16 delegate to a state constitutional convention. He cites the need for a modern and readable constitution and promises to work with citizens to amend it, drawing on business and civic experience. He resides at 3015 Owl Street, Monroe.
Funeral services for George R Harrington 73 will be at 10 am Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel. He was a native of Vidalia and longtime Monroe resident owner of the Quachita Gin Co retired five years. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Survivors include sister Mrs Mose Perry of Bas Trop. Pallbearers listed.
Mrs Charles Vaughn of Monroe is survived by two sons Dr J E Ball of Rayville and Wilton agene Ball of Shreveport and nine grandchildren in an obituary fragment noting family.
