Radar secrets claimed in Russia shipments war probe
New York December 7 wartime expediter George Racey Jordan alleged Soviet access to top secret U.S. radar gear and atomic materials via lend-lease shipments. He said a C-47 radar was ripped from four planes and that a fifth plane carried Velyaev and the radar into the Soviet Union. Jordan tied the claims to Harry Hopkins and criticized officials, while experts called evidence unclear and urged specifics.
