Mrs Alfred Arn of Monticello Dies After Long Illness
Mrs Alfred Arn 71 died at 7 p m at her Monticello home after a long illness. Born Marie Goodman September 13 1887 in Canton Zurich Switzerland. She and Alfred Arn married February 13 1906 and lived in several townships before settling in Monticello. Surviving are six sons and six daughters, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services Friday at 2 p m in Zwingli United Church of Christ with burial in Highland cemetery. Friends may call at Voegeli funeral home after 2 p m tomorrow. All children will attend.

Leo M. Ties of Brodhead Dies at 59
Leo M. Ties a longtime Green County supervisor and prominent Brodhead civic leader died unexpectedly at his home from a heart attack. He 14 years on the County Board and chaired the Petroleum Industries Committee this year. A 38 year Conoco jobber known as Wisconsin's Pioneer Conoco Oil Jobber, he received a Good Neighbor Award in 1957. He was survived by his widow a son three grandchildren and several relatives. Services set for Friday at Everson funeral home with Masonic rites at Greenwood cemetery.
