Two Drowned In Winnebago After Boat Capsizes
A sudden windstorm on Lake Winnebago capsized a boat carrying three Milwaukee men. Owen McShane 47 and Edwin Duchow 60 died after hours of struggle, Erwin Buskuskie 40 survived by clinging to the craft until rescue. Buskuskie and McShane were aboard with Duchow when the boat sank. Buskuskie was later saved by Everett Shaeffer 35 West Allis after about two more hours in rough water.

Services pending at Stuesse funeral home with arrangements to be made once Mrs Bowman returns from vacation.

Mexicans Leave Jail for Home Over Poor Harvest
Twenty three Mexican nationals who came to pick pickles found too few to harvest and left a workers camp near Shiocton.
