Colette Agnes Caiute, 16, of Paramus New Jersey, wins the 1966 Miss Teen-Age America title in Dallas Texas. She receives a $10,000 scholarship to study languages at Syracuse University and plans to become an interpreter. Runners up include Judy Jacob of Southfield Michigan and Cynthia Anne Byrum of Charlotte North Carolina.

Monroe Schools Close Wednesday

Monroe public schools will dismiss at 3 p.m. Wednesday November 3 and close Thursday and Friday November 4 and 5 to allow 125 local teachers to attend the 1965 Wisconsin Education Association convention in Milwaukee. Gov. Warren P. Knowles will speak at a sectional meeting.

Lost Donkey Found by Court Ruling in Yugoslavia

Simun Kolabaric, 80, claimed a 16 year old donkey lost on his farm. Ante Medic, a neighbor, asserted ownership. Villagers released the animal to a crossroads during a court dispute, and the donkey returned to Simun's stable. The court declared Simun owner and ordered Medic to pay trial costs.

Rinehardt, 89, Monroe Township resident dies

Henry F. Rinehardt age 89 died at his Monroe Township home after a heart condition worsened. He lived near Monroe off Highway 11 and was a retired carpenter who built homes and farm buildings from Monroe to Browntown. Surviving relatives include a daughter Celeste Disch, a foster daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services set for Tuesday at St Victor's Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
