The Green County Association for Mental Health education committee met at the Courthouse to advance plans for county wide educational programs. Projects target parent teacher groups, men’s groups, and church groups with topics on family life, emotional health, and rehabilitation after treatment. The goal is to broaden understanding of mental health while avoiding repetition across organizations. About 40 programs are planned with 13 already held. six leadership trainings for Homemakers are set, titled Defining mental health, with sessions across Oct 24 to Oct 31 at county churches and venues.

Russell Stanley Rinehart 15 of Twin Grove died in St. Clare hospital from a cerebral hemorrhage suffered September 21. A Monroe High School sophomore, he was active in St. John's United Church of Christ and DeMolay. Survived by his parents and two brothers, he will be interred in Greenwood Cemetery after funeral Saturday at St. John's Church. Man Escapes From Kewaunee Jail
