Robert Jess Dittmer, 37, of Rockton Illinois, died in Beloit hospital from head injuries after a one car crash north of Roscoe on Illinois Highway 51. His wife and four of six children were treated and released. Services set for Thursday in Beloit with burial at Floral Lawns Cemetery. He served in the Army from 1946 to 1947 and married Rachel Maxson in 1953. Surviving are his wife six daughters two brothers two sisters and his parents are deceased.
