1965 Cadillac Stolen From Auto Co in Monroe
Police investigate theft of a 1965 Cadillac from Green County Auto Co. burglary occurred between midnight and 4 am with entry through a broken window pane. The car, unregistered with no license plates, had been previously owned by Walter Bauman and traded in on a 1966 model. Assistant Chief Coplien says officers inspect for an abandoned vehicle and checked Monroe Sales Co. this morning.

Mason 82 of 1323 15th Ave died unexpectedly at 10 45 this morning in St. Clare Hospital where he had been a surgical patient since Nov 9 Saether Funeral Home Blanchardville is in charge of arrangements He was a rural mail carrier out of Blanchardville for 30 years in horse and buggy days He later managed the Badger Club in Monroe and spent 10 years at American Motors in Kenosha Surviving are his widow Nellie Olson Severson and a brother Harney Mason.

Seven TB Suspects Identified in Rock County Drive
Milwaukee report says seven suspected tuberculosis cases in Rock County include a young woman and four children. The Wisconsin Anti Tuberculosis Association drive tested all schools over five months with a mobile van for skin tests and follow up chest X rays.
