Police linked the 46 year old ex convict Jack Enea to a fatal shooting found beside a rural road near Milwaukee. Dr L J Van Hecke counted ten bullet wounds and five 38 caliber slugs, with death estimated at 11:30 a m. Walter Brocca, last known to see Enea alive, said he visited a bakery around 10 a m. Enea had a long criminal record including assaults theft embezzlement and keeping a gambling house with prior paroles and prison terms.

Kohler signed a bill allowing dairy product haulers to receive about a 40 percent reduction in truck license fees, not limited to fluid milk.
