General power outage caused by a storm slowed electric clocks in Monroe and nearby areas at 6 a.m. yesterday. Three Persons Hurt in Accident Near New Glarus
Three Green County residents were injured in two separate crashes on Saturday night near New Glarus and Monticello. In the first, Paul Schroeder of Evansville and Marvin Zweifel of Belleville collided rear to rear, injuring Schroeder passengers James Allan and Carol Allen and Ruth Ann Zweifel with head bruises. In a second incident, Lois Burcalow of Middleton and Carl Jensen of Darlington sideswiped near Monticello, damaging left fenders.
