Sixteen Monroe County men joined a three day field camp at Camp Williams near Tomah and Lisbon May 23 to 26, with about 1000 Guard soldiers from Wisconsin. They learned riot tactics and weapon handling, attended a memorial for General Williams and his son, and met state guard officers.
