Outdoor Services At Kubly Park Sunday Evening

The first congregational use of the Church of the Outdoor at Kubly Park near Monroe is planned for Sunday May 25 at 7 45 p m Rev Wylie Fulton and the First Baptist Church will lead with Argus 4 H Club members and families joining A wiener roast will follow attendees are asked to bring wieners buns and own beverages The park was a 4 H project designed by Robert Hahn donated by Alvin A Kubly The public is invited and all proceeds support utility notes interest.

A Monroe resident was told she won a Mexico vacation for 25 dollars, which is halted by warnings from the Wisconsin Agricultural Department about a California firm Deluxe Vacationers. Officials advised stop payments and warned of postal inquiries in Hollywood. The May 5 TV Guide ad prompted the alert. Separately, the Wisconsin Assembly passed a bill enabling school boards to set dress and conduct rules.

First Woman Pilot Joins Green County Airlift Event

Ray Hill Family Receives Warm Community Support

The Ray Hill family of rural Warren lost their home and belongings on Wednesday night but received extensive help from Apple River residents.
