Two persons were injured in the area two-vehicle rollover on Highway 69 in New Glarus at 1 40 a m. Monroe teen Marcia Olson 18 suffered chest and leg injuries while passenger Sharon Leuzinger 19 had a cut nose. A separate crash on Highway 1 81 toppled a car into a ditch injuring Thomas Beliow 17. Nearby, three Saturday accidents reported two more injuries including Phillip Welton 17 with head bruises and Mary Jane Elmer with possible back injury. A steer collision near Monticello damaged vehicles and a Monroe back-up incident damaged two cars in the 16th Avenue block.

Stockton Youth Waives Change in Fatal Stabbing Case
A 17 year old Stockton youth charged with aggravated assault waived extradition to Jo Daviess County Illinois after a stabbing at the high school. The victim Cindy Frazier 16 underwent surgery and is in satisfactory condition at Freeport Memorial Hospital. The incident occurred during prom decoration helping with a quarrel between two juniors. The youth was arrested in Wisconsin near Highways 11 and 23 and returned to Illinois by Jo Daviess authorities.
